    Knoxville Times
    Tuesday 7th September, 2010

The owner of Osama bin-Laden’s former home has said he will consider selling it to him if he wants to live back in the area.

The current owner, Mu’in Khoury, has told the Yediot Ahronot Hebrew daily that "if Osama makes me an offer I will be willing to consider it, but it will not be sold to anyone else."

He said: "This is a historic house, and to this day I have not talked about it with anybody."

According to Mr Khoury, Osama bin-Laden’s father came from Saudi Arabia in the 1940s, bought the house, and lived in it from time to time.

Osama himself lived there on several occasions in the 1960s.

Since then the property has changed hands many times and once served as the Spanish consul’s office.

The house in in the Shuafat neighbourhood, where it has become a well-known landmark.
